Sensor data for diagnostic functions is increasingly used to identify malfunctions and error types. If the system has the ability to react due to this functionality, a special situation arises for the risk analysis: the handling of “loopholes" (diagnostic function reports a non-existent malfunction or type of error) and "multiple errors" (faulty function only occurs in case of malfunction of the system).During the webinar, the special characteristics of an MSR-FMEA, such as the modelling of these systems in the FMEA and the separation between detection and preventive measures, will be discussed.
